A little strange. A little handmade. Entirely your kind of thing.

Questions

Questions about patterns and orders.

These answers describe the Shop. If an answer conflicts with the privacy policy, the terms and pattern license, or the digital delivery and refunds policy, the policy page controls.

The patterns

Is this a finished hoop or a digital pattern?

The Shop sells downloadable cross-stitch PDF patterns. Fabric, floss, needles, hoops, and finished stitched pieces are not included.

I’m new to cross stitch. Where should I start?

Start with the Beginner-friendly collection and the first-stitch guide. Read the material list on the pattern before you buy supplies. Confirm measurements in the PDF before you cut fabric.

Can I use a different fabric count?

Changing the fabric count changes the finished size. Divide the stitch width and stitch height by the fabric count to estimate inches. Confirm the size in the PDF before you cut fabric.

Can I sell my finished stitching or share the PDF?

The Pattern License is on the terms page. It is a personal-use license unless that product page states a different license in plain words. You may not redistribute the PDF. You may not sell a finished object made from the pattern, or stitch it for a fee, unless that product page says you may.

Downloads

How do I get my pattern?

After Stripe reports the payment as paid, the Shop emails the checkout address a link to that order. The link lasts 72 hours. The PDF is not attached. The Shop streams the file after checking the link.

Do I need an account?

No. The Shop does not issue a password or an account. Access uses the checkout email and a link.

I can’t find the purchase email. What should I do?

Check spam and the email address used at checkout. Recovery asks for that address and, when the form is configured to call the Shop, sends the request. The Shop replies with the same sentence whether or not an order exists, and it sends a link only if that email has an active entitlement. A recovery link lasts 24 hours and replaces earlier links for that email. If no email arrives, write to help@nightskystitch.com. The message form on the support page does not send.

My download link expired. Have I lost the pattern?

Expiry of the link does not, by itself, cancel the purchase. Request a new link with the checkout email while the entitlement is still active. A full refund, or a dispute notice that revokes access, does end download access. Do not post a link.

What if the pattern is corrected later?

The order is for the pattern version recorded when Stripe reports the payment as paid. A later version does not replace that file and does not send you an email.

Orders, tax, and refunds

Can I buy several patterns at once?

Yes. You can check out patterns and bundles together. The Shop charges each line’s price. It does not discount a pattern because that pattern is also inside a bundle in the same bag. The bag stores product identifiers and quantities in this browser only, and it holds at most one of each item.

When is an order created?

Only after Stripe reports the payment as paid. If checkout is not enabled, the Shop does not take payment and does not create an order. Leaving Checkout before payment does not empty the bag and does not create an order.

How do tax and refunds work?

Prices are in US dollars. Stripe Tax is off, so Checkout does not add tax or require a billing address while that setting stays off. Tax registration is an open item on the terms page. A full refund, once Stripe reports the charge fully refunded, revokes download access. A partial refund does not, by itself, change download access. The refund rules are at the digital delivery and refunds page.

Before you check out

This checkout charges for both.

Your bag includes an individual pattern that is also part of a bundle already in your bag. Continuing charges the full price of the bundle and the full price of that pattern. Neither one is removed. This purchase cannot be refunded.
